The centrepiece of this necklace is a genuinely ancient (4^th century B.C.) Egyptian, faience melon bead. The turquoise blue coloured glaze is largely intact, and in reality looks much better than it does in the photographs. This Ancient Egyptian style necklace consists of quality Lapis Lazuli tube beads, natural African Turquoise round beads, and Sodalite heishi beads.

 

 

 

 

The necklace measures approx. 47 cms in length. The ancient faience bead is approx. 1 cm x 1.2 cms. It is strung on stainless steel jeweller’s wire for durability, and has solid sterling silver fittings. Equally appropriate for a man or a woman.
