~ Vintage replica Egyptian silver scarab, gemstone necklace ~
This necklace has red Brecchiated Jasper, deep red Garnets, carved blue Howlite and Bloodstone scarab beads. They are strung on stainless steel jeweller's wire, with a large, vintage, solid Egyptian Silver, replica scarab amulet, and solid sterling silver fittings.
Khepere was the scarab headed god of creation, and the scarab beetle with which he was identified was regarded as a symbol of resurrection and fertility. Scarabs were also used as protective talismans.
The necklace measures 49 cms in length, the silver Scarab amulet is 6 cms in length. Insured postage and gift wrapping are included in the price.
