~ Ancient Egyptian inspired Agate scarab earrings ~
A pair of solid sterling silver earrings for pierced ears, with Tree Agate, scarab amulet, beads. The earring drops measure 2 cms in length.
Green and blue were favoured colours for scarab amulets. Blue was symbolic for the fertile waters of Nun (creation), and the Nile. Green represented new growth and rebirth. The Ancient Egyptians associated the scarab beetle with fertility, renewal, life and rebirth. Insured postage and gift wrapping are included in the price.
