~ ANCIENT EGYPTIAN FAIENCE TUBE BEAD c 500 BCE ~

A wearable necklace with an ancient Egyptian, pale turquoise coloured, faience tube bead c 500 BCE.

The bead is in good intact condition, with no visible cracks or chips, and still retains much of the original glaze colouring.

This lovely ancient bead has been restrung with 5,000 year old grey and white Steatite beads from Syria, also modern Amazonite and Rhodonite beads.

The necklace is strung with stainless steel jeweller's wire for durability, and has solid sterling silver fittings.

The necklace measures approximately 14 cms (15 3/4") in length and the faience bead is approximately 13 mms. (1/2") long.

It would be equally suitable for a man or a woman. Insured postage and gift wrapping are included in the price.
