~ RESTRUNG ANCIENT EGYPTIAN FAIENCE AND STEATITE BEADS ~
A genuine ancient Egyptian, late period, round faience bead, c 300 BCE. Some glaze loss is evident, however the bead is otherwise intact with no visible cracks or chips. The ancient faience bead has been restrung on a wearable bracelet with 5,000 year old grey and white Steatite beads from Syria, together with modern Unakite beads.
The bracelet measures approx. 19.5 cms ( 7 5/8" ) in length. The ancient Egyptian bead is approx. 7 mm ( 1/4" ) wide . The bracelet is finished with solid sterling silver fittings and is strung on stainless steel jeweller's wire for durability. Equally appropriate for a man or a woman. Insured postage and gift wrapping are included in the price.
