~ ANCIENT EGYPTIAN FAIENCE, AND ANCIENT BEAD BRACELET ~

A bracelet with an ancient Egyptian, Turquoise coloured, late period faience melon bead, c 500 BCE.

The bead is intact, with no repairs. It has age related wear, but no visible cracks, and it retains much of the original blue glaze.

The ancient faience bead has been restrung on stainless steel jeweller's wire, with 5,000 year old grey and white Steatite beads from Syria,

and modern Turquoise and Garnet beads.

The bracelet has solid sterling silver fittings, and measures approximately 24.8 cms. (9 3/4") in length.

The ancient Egyptian bead is approximately 1 cm. (3/8") in diameter.

Insured postage and gift wrapping are included in the price.
