~ ANCIENT EGYPTIAN FAIENCE AND ANCIENT BEAD BRACELET ~

A wearable bracelet with an ancient Egyptian, blue faience, late period melon bead c 500 BCE.

The ancient melon bead has been restrung on stainless steel jeweller's wire with 5,000 year old grey Steatite beads from Syria,

and modern Turquoise, blue Jasper and Unakite beads.

The bead is intact with no repairs, it shows age related glaze wear, but still retains much of it's original colour.

The ancient faience bead measures approximately 8mms. (7/16") in diameter.

The bracelet measures approximately 24 cms. (9 1/4") in length, and has solid sterling silver fittings.

Insured postage and gift wrapping are included in the price.
