Ancient Egyptian inspired gemstone bracelet, with an ancient, green glazed faience amulet bead,

of Imsety (Amsety or Imsti) leaning against the emblem of the west. Probably late period.

Imsety was one of the four sons of Horus, associated with protection of the liver,

consequently, his human headed image appears frequently on canopic jars.

The glaze shows a little age related discolouration but the amulet is intact, with no chips or repairs.

It is strung on stainless steel jeweller’s wire for durability, with modern red Coral and Unakite beads.

The bracelet measures approx. 22 cms (8 5/8") in length and the bead is approx. 1.5 x 1.2 cms (9/16" x 1/2").

It is finished with solid sterling silver fittings. Insured postage and gift wrapping are included in the price.
