Possibly a depiction of Nefertum, god of the blue lotus and perfume.

Restrung on a necklace with 5,000 year old steatite beads from Syria,

also modern Lapis Lazuli, Red Jasper, Unakite and African Turquoise beads. Solid sterling silver fittings.

Necklace measures approx. 38.5 cms (15 1/8 inches) and the amulet approx. 14mm (5/16 inch) long.

Strung on stainless steel jeweller’s wire for durability.
